Rasheem That rancid sprinkler water might have done that.
Sprinkler systems go off at a specific temperature, not in the presence of smoke. Smoke detectors, with few exceptions generally not found in a university, are not wired to sprinkler systems.

For a moment I thought the vloggers pulled the fire alarm while they were running away.
Connorses That’s another possibility, at least for people who didn’t get it at once.
Oh, the smoke bomb set of the fire alarm. I had to read it a few times before I got that.
A micropanel where you see one of the fire sprinklers go off would help with that.
Also, the water in those systems in stagnant and nasty. You do NOT want it spraying on you when you are not on fire.
Marscaleb Kinda implied with the fire alarm, but the mini panel is a good idea though. Yeah I've heard the water's nasty too!
