I have a sudden desire to draw someone as if they’re emo/goth now.

It’s awesome that I learned a lot about drawing birds, but I’m getting tired of drawing feathers. Still, it’s the only way to get better at drawing them…

What’s that? More details? Ok! Had some trouble drawing owl Myan but I’m still glad it turned out ok, I guess. I’m still not sure how to draw the patterns on the feathers.

Sorry if it’s not obvious, Myan’s drinking milk. Trying to at least. I dunno, whenever Hibi-Hibi’s appears, the comic’s prone to flashbacks. Maybe she came from Lost or something.
Drawing people is hard enough. Drawing multiple people in the same panel is harder. Drawing them on a table on a specific angle complete with background and props…. damn. Welp I’m still glad I did it and I’m somewhat satisfied with this, compared to my earlier attempts. Also trying out that leafy shadow effect, but I need more practice with it. And yes OWL MYAN. MYOWL. HOO HOO. I don’t really know how to draw owls but it was fun looking at pictures of them.
On other news, I have a job now. Don’t know how it will affect the updates, but it’s gonna be tougher to work on them during the weekdays. My current job involves sitting in front of the computer most of the day too… at least I get moneys, yey. Sorry I’ve been gone a while, was busy with stuff in life. Anyhoo, a belated Happy New Year everyone! And we lived through the end of the world! Hurray for that I suppose.
Man, from now on I’m gonna draw it on paper first, scan, then “ink” it in Flash, like I used to do in the first few pages. It’s so much faster and better than drawing it directly in Flash. See, on some days, I just totally suck in drawing with it so my quality and speed really suffers a lot. I’m still gonna draw some stuff directly in of course, like the last panel here. This way, I might actually be able to stick to a schedule, and doing more pages per week. Still no promises about that though!
Hey, if anyone’s playing Wakfu right now, I’m playing as Sexy Behind. Yeahhhh, I regret the name now. Oh, and if you didn’t know that Wakfu has an animated series, I highly suggest watching it. Now THAT’S how you draw in Flash.

The first panel’s another challenging one. I don’t think 1-point perspective is that great when there’s a wide view, but it is easier to do. I’m also distracted by playing Wakfu and The Walking Dead, durrrrr. I’ll try to update faster next time, like maybe on December 21 or something. Hope nothing happens by then.
