To be fair, Myan can actually work as a secret agent (complete with catsuit) if she wants to. Now, the question is if the Philippines has a decent spy agency or something… Sadly, we also don’t have any fancy zoos here, which is why they’re inexpensive. One ticket without any discounts is around $2-3 only.
*Keith looks at the ticket prices...*
Keith: It's not that expensive, but I'd rather not pay for Myan's entrance fee if I can help it.
Myan: sorry...
Cruz: Hmm, I have an idea...
Cruz: Okay, I'll scout the area for cameras and guards, Keith is the distraction, while Myan sneaks in. Try not to die.
Myan: I've sneaked in before!
Keith: I'll do anything to save a few bucks.
Tammy: Or you know, we can just, like, split her ticket. Guys? ...erm, what do I do?
Cruz: Take pictures of us being badasses, for posterity.

I am liking the simpler, hand-drawn backgrounds that I’ve been doing recently.
Keith: Why are we here again?
Tammy: Photography assignment. Each of us were supposed to decide on a subject.
Tammy: I chose "instinct", but I don't have time to actually hunt for wild animals.
Tammy: So yeah, this is totally not an excuse to go sightseeing.
Keith: If you say so.
Stupid me didn’t account for Myan’s thick (and awesome) “mane” in panels 3 and 4, oh well.
The next day...
Cruz: Magnificent mane Myan!
Myan: purr
Tammy: Hey there, um...
Myan: brrrr
Tammy: They're that comfy, huh?
Myan: Z
Guhhhh, Keith’s pose in panel 1 took forever to draw for some reason, guess I should’ve practiced drawing more people sitting during the hiatus. At least I’ve got it mostly right, and I think I’ve vastly improved drawing backgrounds. Keith could use more “man-spreading” in his pose though, hahaha.
For those who use Flash to draw, I use the Line tool for drawing straight/man-made objects and backgrounds, but I’ve felt for a long time now that they’re, well, too perfect (and boring), especially for Cat Nine’s style. Now, I think I’ll just use them as a guide so I can draw them by hand. Who knew that (PROTIP->) a little bit of imperfection can add more personality!
Keith: That reminds me, Tammy invited us to go to the Zoo tomorrow. You coming?
Myan: Wow, I haven't been there in forever!
Keith: Wait, you've went there before?
Myan: Lots of times!
Keith: Ohhhh! So that's why you're aware of other animals.
Myan: Yup!
It’s a little late, but I’m back! Hope you’re all ready for the new episode!
Honestly, I don’t think I was that productive during the hiatus, but at least I actually did some practice. It might not be visually noticeable , but the important thing is I’m finding it a lot easier to draw.
Keith: I'm back.
Myan: RRRRROOAARR!!
Keith: Oh, uh... gasp! A vicious and terrifying lion!
Myan: D-don't be scared Dad! I'm not really a lion! It's just me, Myan!!
Not really sure when I’ll be able to continue this… but I just wanna put this out there.
Myan: Did someone else guard the tree before me?
Hibi-Hibi: Oh, there were many.
Hibi-Hibi: What do you want as a reward?
Cat: A lot of food!
Myan: Heehee, he got fat right?
Cat: Birds! Get... get over here! Come onnn!
Hibi-Hibi: A car ran over him.

Finally, Episode 3 ends. Now that means I can take that hiatus. I’ll be back in July!
