When I moved to cat-nine.net from Comic Genesis, this comic had no dialogue and speech bubbles for a while. I didn’t notice, and no one told me about it until I responded to one of the comments below. Still, I think this page got the message across thanks to their body language and expressions, which if it isn’t obvious yet, is very important in comics!

I’ve been in a class with 2 other Kevins. Not helping that there are other Kevin’s in the same level. Argh! I do have a unique family name though, but everyone (except one teacher) keeps mispronouncing it.

I kinda cheated on the second panel by not drawing their classmates. That’s gonna be a headache, plus I haven’t actually designed them yet. AND OMG NOW WHO’S THAT?!

I should’ve used silhouettes or something here. In any case, background characters needs some time to design as well. Oh, I also liked how I made the indoor scene in the last panel here.

10 – Old Friend

Oh so Keith is his name! And that other guy looks familiar too!

For this week, I tried doing it the traditional way, pencilling it on paper then the rest on the computer. I’ve always felt that my drawing’s stiff when I draw in my tablet, and the lineart part is the longest step for me when drawing with the tablet. Welp, it looks good enough to me and since I can actually pencil more pages per day, so future comics will be made like that, yey!

Even till now, sketching and lineart still takes the longest to finish. Meanwhile, coloring is the most fun in the whole process!

9 – Class Time

Skipping next week cause it’s my birthday(omg I’m 20), Holloween and then All Saint’s Day.
Haven’t had much experience drawing buildings, as well as three point perspective, so just bear with what I’ve got for now.

Their college takes place in a skyscraper, which is mostly inspired by The School of Design and Arts Building of De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde. It looks nothing like it in this comic though.
