Ok, sure, he’s got to teach her not to act quite so inanely and not do outlandishly irresponsible and attention-getting things, because she’s ignorant about the world in a nonviable sort of way, but that’s only because she’s only a few weeks old and effectively a day old as a humanoid, she seems to be fantastically bright considering that. So she’s no longer a cat, even when she physically turns into a cat she’s not a cat, because she can talk and understands abstract concepts, so he shouldn’t be treating her like a cat. Spraying her with a spray bottle? Seriously? What’s he going to do next, walk her on a leash? Take her to a restaurant and make her eat off the floor?
thefred Yeah, I think that’s a common problem for people who’ve raised/interacted with dogs often. Also confusing each species body language (i.e. cat wagging tail = not happy)
thefred Not to mention the reason cats are borderline hydrophobic seems to b e that we tend to only ever get them wet as part of a punishment.
Rinley thefred It might not even work at all if a certain cat loves water. I wonder what people use to train them…?

Lazylonewolf I would but if I learned anything about cats in my short life… it’s that they are the equivalent of a spoiled child. Plus I wouldn’t want to get scratched cause that stuff hurts.

KitsuneFire Hah, one of my cats will run away really fast if she feels any water touching, or rather, dropping on her (i.e. me, from just washing my hands).
And I’ve heard it depends on the breed.
